A new date for the #AeroDays2020 has been scheduled!
#AeroDays2020 host European Commission, and organizers German Aerospace Center (DLR), German Aerospace Industries Association (BDLI) as well as the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) are delighted to announce that the second part of the Tandem-AeroDays19.20 will take place in Berlin from 24-26 November 2020.
In direct response to the COVID-19 crisis, the #AeroDays2020 agenda will be adjusted to focus on the impact of the pandemic on the air travel and aviation industry, concentrating on competitiveness and sustainability at the high-level event Berlin Aviation Summit on November 24 as well as on research, technology and innovation as enablers of climate neutrality, environmental protection and industrial leadership in aviation at the #AeroDays2020 FORUM on November 25-26.
The European Aeronauctics Days is the leading event in aviation research and innovation, a platform to share and review the latest developments across the European Union.
For almost three decades the European Aeronautics Days (Aerodays) have been the leading event in aviation research and innovation, mirroring the priorities and strategies set within the European Union Research Framework Programmes. The eighth Aerodays builds on the achievements of Horizon 2020, the biggest EU research and innovation programme to date, and will be based on a new approach by integrating two events organized as TandemAEROdays19.20, in Romania in 2019 and Germany in 2020.
BERLIN AVIATION SUMMIT AND ILA FUTURE LAB FORUM
Two events – the Berlin Aviation Summit and the ILA Future Lab FORUM – form the Aerodays in Germany. Both take place during ILA Berlin 2020, the leading international aerospace exhibition of innovations in Europe with more than 150,000 expected trade and public visitors.
While at the Berlin Aviation Summit leading representatives from the aviation industry, research and government discuss challenges and opportunities the aviation sector is facing, the talks and panel discussions at the ILA Future Lab FORUM during the ILA exhibition will address all visitors and invite them to a dialogue.
The TandemAEROdays19.20 concept supports a clear political message for joint cooperation policies in the aviation sector, as the events in Romania and Germany will reflect each country’s mandate at the rotating presidency of the EU Council.
